Coutas - on a Mission

Club Info

The Coutas are on the up and will be looking to improve on reaching four Grand Finals in 2009/10, to at least bring a couple of Premierships home in 2010/11. 

In 2010/11, two stalwarts of the club will take the reigns as coach in Neil Petrie and Darren Shapter.

The Queenscliff Cricket Club is located at the Queenscliff Recreational Reserve (Victoria Park) in the Borough of Queenscliffe, which is approximately 30kms south of Geelong. You can view a google map of our location here.

 

 

The Reserve is located within the Caravan Park in Queenscliff with many campers enjoying the matches during the holiday period. The club is fortunate to have the use of some excellent facilities including the current clubrooms and the Monahan centre.

The Club is affiliated with the Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association and will again have four senior sides in 2009/10, along with six junior sides ranging from under 11s through to under 17s associated with the Geelong Cricket Association Junior Section.

 

 

The seniors train on Tuesday and Thursdays along with the under 17s, with other juniors on various days. Match days for all teams, except the under 11s, is on Saturdays during the season. Juniors play in the mornings, with senior matches commences in the early afternoon. The under 11 matches are on Friday nights and coincide with the "Milo - Have a go cricket program".
